This is an adorable sugar snowman posted from ineedathis. This is for a gingerbread house -- I can't wait to see it finished!
You can see the other carolers and the sugar pieces to come on ineedathis flickr stream.

Now as much as I loved Turkeys and Thanksgiving, I love Snowmen and Christmas. I am actually starting to put out some Christmas decorations around the house today. I might as well start decorating this blog as well.
This is a cake I did last year for a few of my nieces and nephews!
Every day I will post a Christmas Sweet from the Sweet Daze Flickr Group. Merry Christmas, Happy Snowmen, Let the Decorating Begin!!!

OK, THIS IS THE ONE!
In my quest for a Turkey Cake, I found this guy. He is by the amazing debbiedoescakes. Imagine him sitting on your table, just waiting to be carved. OOh, I just love him.
Check out her other cakes on her Flickr page -- especially the dog cakes. The thing she can do with the eyes, they all seem to say -- "Take me home."

This is a pie I did a couple of Thanksgivings ago. I actually made it for a pie contest. I never got to enter it because I read the deadline was 12:00 -- I figured midnight, right? Wrong. Noon!!! Of course I finished around 12:30 and tried to post it!! Oh well, we got a turkey pie out of it!!

Yup, a cake for my brother-in-law's brother-in-law's wedding.
When I stared this cake, it was going to have Royal Icing flowers, I remember now why I HATED Wilton Course 2. I just don't like Royal Icing. At the last minute -- the morning of -- I decided I could not use the Royal Icing and went with fondant and gumpaste flowers instead.

I have done this cake a couple of times -- hopefully I can come up with something new this year. I mean, hopefully I have time.
Well, Thanksgiving 07 is just a week away. I love Thanksgiving -- family and football.
I have a confession -- I don't much like eating turkey BUT I love turkeys. It is hard to pass up turkey decorations at this time of the year. I just bought a salt and pepper shaker -- turkeys!!
Let me see your Turkey creations -- and other Thanksgiving stuff as well. I'll be posting them here, counting down the days.

Maybe some of you have seen the email with the life-size bride cake, maybe you haven't -- if not, here is a peek at this amazing work of art.
Elizabeth Bonura of www.weddingsculptures.com sculpted the head and shoulders while Nikki of www.absolutelyediblecakes.com/ created the wedding gown cake.
You can see more pictures www.weddingsculptures.com and her flickr account.
